Inspired by Machine-A's legacy of championing emerging designers and celebrating divergent pieces from established brands, this project explores sonder; the realization that every passerby has a life as vivid as our own.

Through carefully staged compositions, I recreate moments when strangers share physical space while remaining psychologically distant. The models embody characters in common urban environments, their intentional gazes revealing active internal worlds.

The audio-visual language in the short film contrasts external stillness with internal motion. Alternating voices and sound design create movement, while the models remain largely idle, prompting the question: Can we ever truly be "just waiting"?
